That was totally WICKED!

Ah, city life! I could focus on the crazy traffic or the crowds, but something I absolutely LOVE about where we live is the opportunities to see and do  things only city folk get to do. :-)

Like attend awesome Broadway musicals!

So grateful for my best friend who loves going to these shows with me. It's great to have a dinner and a show date night once in a while.

The best thing about this theatre is that it is only  FIVE minutes away from our apartment! LOVE IT!

As for the musical, we loved it. We had never seen it before so it was fun to experience it for the first time.

I think I might get hooked on Korean city life. :-)

Palace Tour

 We were privileged to go on a tour of Gyeongbok Palace! Such a beautiful place with mountains on one side and lovely architecture on the other.

The changing of the guards was a sight to behold. Every hour they came out for the ceremony.

Armed with my electronic translator I was ready and raring to go!

Such beautiful architcture was everywhere!

 This pagoda was one of my favorite parts of the palace. It was so lovely and peaceful.

After a big Korean lunch we shopped in Insadong (one of my favorite places) and attended a live theater show! Here are some of the characters from that performance.

Some of us joined in the fun and tried on the authentic royal clothing!

What a great way to spend the day! We will definitely take another tour during our stay here! :-)
