 Hooray for Spring! Carolyn and the Conner crew are chomping at the bit to go on the next outing! Here's Brianna, Ian, and little Christopher packed up and ready to go!

The highlight of the trip is not having to walk all the way back to the zoo entrance. Carolyn LOVED the ride in the Skylift, and it was a perfect ending to the day.

So many things to see and do here. And lots to eat. Carolyn and I even tried some grilled squid. We love all the adventures we get to have here. And it's  even better when we get to share them with great friends. :-)

A New Place to Hang!

What a great place for kids and crafts! The moms can hang out and sip coffee while the kids get creative. Everyone wins! :-)

The food was great and the company was greater! Definitely a great Spring Break outing! :-)

Milestones

It is amazing to look back at the events God put into motion to bring me to this stage of my life…

And it aint over yet!

16 Years ago I was a lance cooley (LCpl - one up with cross rifles) in Okinawa.  I spent a short 3 month stint in Pohang, South Korea for Ulchi Focus Lens.  2 weeks before I left "the rock", a Marine Staff Sergeant (SSgt) sat down with me and introduced me to the greatest Man that ever lived by telling me about the greatest story ever written!  It was like a veil had lifted from my eyes! 

What a wonderful Savior!

As a side note: I was the last person Steve had witnessed to for a number of years after that encounter.  Flash forward about 10 years.  SSgt Penn is attending radio chiefs course in 29 Palms, CA when guess who walks in to instruct one of the lessons! It must have looked like we were staring each other down during class as we tried to connect the dots. With misty eyes, MSgt Hazelett and I reunited during the break.

What a wonderful God!
