Dr. Fish

Dr. Fish is on many Korean traveler's bucket list. So, we decided we needed to try it out for ourselves! The cafe itself was beautiful. I could easily go there to chill out with a cup of Joe.

Of course, we had to try the food the cafe offered us.
This was C's favorite. It tasted like puffed cereal.

I don't know whether this video will show up. The pictures don't do it justice.
Big and small fish come up and nibble at the dead skin on your feet. Crazy!

This particular cafe is closed, but I look forward to another Dr. Fish adventure before we leave!

Carolyn's Jazz Recital

These young ladies did such a great job with their routine! They performed a fun dance to "Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy".

What's a girls' gathering without some silliness?

Aren't their costumes awesome? Her dance teacher, Lindsay and a very talented group of moms made them for each of the girls.

C and her buddy Ariyana
Her BFF Briana!

Saluting to a great year in jazz class!

Splish n Splash September outing

Splish n Splash is one of our favorite summer hangouts! There is something for everyone.

Huge Olympic size pool!

This my favorite place to hang out!

Ahh! This is the life! :-)

Michelle's Zumba birthday party!

I love that Zumba has something for kids, too! So, when Tammy asked me to do a birthday party for her daughter I jumped at the chance!
Loving the smiles on their faces!

Even Carolyn got into the groove!

Then the older kids got up to dance (that included the moms that were there) :-)

Had a great time with these young ladies! I can't wait to do it again!

It"s been a while....

So, we haven't been updating this blog very well. Life gets in the way. But, I realize that I need to record the moments of joy we've had here. It's easy to get bogged down in the frustrations of living on a military base in a different country. However, there have been so many wonderful experiences we've had here that it wouldn't be right not to keep up with them. So, consider this our (ok, my) apology for not focusing on the happy times. And here is my commitment to be better about this from here on out. One more year here. I'm going to try my darndest to make it a good one. :-)

After all, the best part of this adventure is that we're sharing it together.
Enjoy the recap, everybody!

Family Pics

It was a hot day in August, but we still managed to pose our way through some AMAZING pictures! Our friend Victoria captured these moments, and she did an incredible job!

I adore these ones of Carolyn and her daddy. :-)

These pictures were taken at the National Museum of Korea. I cannot think of a better backdrop than the one we had that day!

Thanks, Victoria, for capturing these beautiful moments!
